Design & Features

The No products found. is constructed with sturdy aluminum components designed to maintain stability throughout the high-speed processes of 3D printing and the torques of CNC milling. The A-frame shape is an industrial grade, facilitating the use of dual linear rails and belts along the y-axis which contributes to the stability of the machine during the printing process.

The ZMorph VX is outfitted with a removable cover as well, attached via magnets, that allows for switching between the printer’s various functions. Other easily removed parts include the tool head system, print bed, and parts cooling fans. Swapping the tool heads from a single or double filament extruder to the laser and CNC pro attachments is performed easily by removing one screw with a hexagon wrench. The parts cooling fan attaches and detaches with a magnet and comes with a reminder when switching to PLA that it needs to be attached in case it was removed for previous builds or projects.

This 3 in 1 3D printer features a heated bed that’s attached with one latch and magnets to make it easy to remove when switching from printing to engraving to cutting. The glass plates are exchangeable and the bed levels automatically with an option for manual assistance.

There’s a user-friendly touchscreen color display. Another feature is the closed-loop stepper motor system. The sensors in the motor are aware of their placement in relation to the print bed to correct any missteps in the printing process.

This model is easy to clean with its removable covers and also comes with a hard reset button that comes in handy with the CNC milling option.

Printing

When the glass plate is removed from the print bed, there isn’t a coated surface for builds to stick to, so it’s best to use the included Dimafix fixative, or any other adhesive preferred, to ensure a successful build.

The all in one 3D printer is fairly quiet with the loudest function being the CNC milling which hovers around 78 decibels. The print quality is excellent especially when using the proprietary slicer, Voxelizer, because it incorporates all of the functions of the printer in its settings. Voxelizer also compensates for the lack of a filament runout sensor by providing accurate estimates as to how much filament will be needed for the build when designing the file in the software.

When printing with the dual-extruder, take note to adjust the settings to reduce the number of visible artifacts that appear in the build when color blending. It helps to use the ZMorph Academy is you’re unfamiliar with the functions of the printer.

The printer comes fully assembled with the electronic components completely enclosed from the functions of the printer.
